  2. Provide appropriate preparation for leading university courses

  1. Planning the course and creating effective syllabi
  2. Supporting longer-term retention of information
  3. Providing useful feedback to students
  4. Evaluating and documenting your own teaching
  5. Creating civil classroom environments
  6. Evaluating learning through appropriate assignments

Svinicki & McKeachie (2013; 14th edition), McKeachie’s Teaching Tips: Strategies, Research, and Theory for College and University Teachers
